Has anybody noticed this? Jalopnik is defaulting to alternate typeface for me and is sucks on my low res chromebook screen.
It defaults to jalopnik.com / !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Anybody know how to permanently get around it?

It wasn’t doing that on my computer until I clicked that link, now I’m stuck with it too. On another comp, it’s not doing it.
EDIT: Clear your cache and cookies. It doesn’t do it in incognito mode.

Kinja is testing out different new fonts. Some blogs are getting test runs with different styles. (I personally hate the new Jalop one, but for now, it wont be permanant.)
Supposedly there are two or three they’re field testing. I can’t imagine they wouldn’t go for something.. bolder.

Not sure if you are serious or not... I tried it and jalopnik.com looks normal now. ¯\_()_/¯

I haven’t been bothered by the fonts, but they are making the columns and images wider which is interesting (and probably sucks on low-res screens). It does mean they are stretching 636px images to 720px (though seems like new stories get 800px shrunk down instead?)

My original response to the topic was just a troll response. Whelp!
